Roseann Abdu

Institutional Giving Officer

Roseann is a strategic, results-driven professional with nearly 20 years of experience in institutional giving, operations and project management at nonprofits and educational institutions in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Through her institutional giving roles, she has collaborated across teams to raise and manage public and private funding for programs, general operations and capital projects. She has deep experience in developing institutional giving goals, strategies, metrics, proposals, budgets and processes to align with organizational priorities and increase and diversify revenue. 

She has worked in the conservation, community development, youth development, higher ed and community service arenas and is thrilled to join the UsAgainstAlzheimer’s team to fight the good fight against Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Roseann earned a master’s degree in community planning from the University of Maryland, College Park and a bachelor’s degree with dual majors in public communications and anthropology from American University in Washington, DC.
