Aim/Results

MEG studies have found AD patients have slowing brain oscillations correlated with behavioral symptoms of AD. In particular, low MMSE scores were related to slowing of brain oscillations in the parietal and central regions of the brain. AD patients also have less complex, more regular, and more predictable brain oscillations as measured by MEG.

What is Required from Patients

noninvasive magnetoencephalography imaging, in clinic visit

What is Required from the Health System

Magnetoencephalography machine, technicians
