An April 21, 2016 Forbes.com article highlighted the need for millennials to worry about aging in America. According to the article, “Aging isn’t a senior issue; it’s a multi-generational issue. With baby boomers turning 70 at a rate of 10,000 a day, America is becoming a “gerontocracy,” aging guru Ken Dychtwald said in a press conference today, calling on presidential candidates, the media, and voters to address America’s age wave.”

According to the article, “Petersen's wife was diagnosed with Alzheimer's when she was 55. He took care of her at home for a while, but didn't realize the toll it would take. ‘It's going to become a small job you can take care of and then a bigger job and if you're not careful, at the end, it swallows you up,’ said Petersen.”
