UsAgainstAlzheimer’s Launches Clinical Trial Connector to Improve Access to Alzheimer’s Research
Washington, DC (July 18, 2025) — UsAgainstAlzheimer’s today announced the launch of the BrainGuide Clinical Trial Connector, a free, confidential tool developed in partnership with Carebox. This new resource helps individuals, caregivers, and healthcare providers easily find and connect with clinical trials for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD).
At a time when participation in ADRD trials remain low, this tool fills a major gap, making it easier for people to take part in research that could lead to better treatments and care.
“Clinical trials are how we will beat Alzheimer’s and related disorders,” said Russ Paulsen, Chief Operating Officer at UsAgainstAlzheimer’s. “They are how we learn what works. Clinical trials also provide access to promising experimental therapies for patients. But too often, patients and families don’t know how or where to start. With a simple, customized search, the Clinical Trial Connector allows people to learn what is available near them, all while keeping their information completely private. Whether you are living with memory loss, caring for a loved one, or simply interested in contributing to medical progress, there may be a trial that’s right for you.”
BrainGuide is a first-of-its-kind platform that empowers people with knowledge and resources to take the best next steps in managing their own or a loved one’s brain health.
The BrainGuide Clinical Trial Connector is now available at www.mybrainguide.org/clinical-trials/.
