(September 21, 2026) – George Vradenburg, founder and chairman of UsAgainstAlzheimer’s, has been named to the 2026 NACD Directorship 100, an annual recognition honoring leading corporate directors and governance experts who are making a significant impact on boardroom practices and performance. The National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) is the premier membership organization for corporate boards committed to a higher standard of oversight and represents more than 24,000 board members.

October marks World Alzheimer’s Month, providing an opportunity to elevate awareness of the disease and the urgent need for continued progress in early detection, treatment, research and policy.

At the same time, momentum is building in Congress around legislation designed to advance earlier detection of Alzheimer’s and improve access to solutions for people and families affected by the disease. The House Ways and Means Committee has advanced the Alzheimer’s Screening and Prevention (ASAP) Act and the Concentrating on HighValue Alzheimer’s Needs to Get to an End Act (CHANGE) Act for consideration by the full House.

Through UsAgainstAlzheimer’s, Vradenburg has helped drive national attention to Alzheimer’s as a critical public health and policy issue, championing efforts to accelerate research, improve early detection and diagnosis, and ensure that people affected by the disease have a stronger voice in shaping the future of Alzheimer’s care and treatment.
