Nearly 36 million people worldwide are living with dementia today. This number will nearly double every 20 years, reaching 65.7 million in 2030 and a staggering 115.4 million in 2050.³⁵

As Alzheimer’s takes more victims, costs to our world’s health care systems continue to mount. It’s been estimated that the worldwide costs of dementia in 2005 was US$315 billion.³⁶
